Building a school radio station and shipping a RAG system

A living page for what I am working on right now: radio, software, study, space, and audio.

Right now I'm splitting my time between antennas and code.

The school amateur-radio club is coming together — we're prepping for an ISS school contact and getting more students through their licence. On the software side I'm hardening the Industrial HMI RAG system and chipping away at the Caffeine app.

Evenings are for SSB, CW, FM satellite passes, and the occasional KSP RSS/RO mission.

Now listening, building, and reading

A small snapshot of the inputs and projects currently shaping the station and the codebench.

Now listening
HF noise floors, ISS passes, and clean audio chains
Radio monitoring and music that keep the bench moving.

I am paying attention to VHF/UHF satellite windows, local repeaters, and audio reference tracks while tuning the station workflow.

Now building
Station tooling, Caffeine, and practical AI systems
Software that connects personal habits, radio logs, and industrial knowledge.

The current build queue is split between this portal, the Caffeine app, school radio station infrastructure, and a citation-first RAG system.

Now reading
RF basics, orbital mechanics, and systems design notes
Things that make radio, space, and software feel like one subject.

My reading pile keeps circling antenna theory, satellite operations, Next.js architecture, DSP, and university-level physics.
